A set of claves is needed for part VII
SAXOPHONE
The work requires an alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone. Each instrument is used for three of the nine movements. While there are no instrument changes within each movement, the transition between one instrument and the other should be as short and quiet as possible to avoid long pauses between movement, some of which are rather short.
The instruments are used as follows:
Alto Saxophone (I, IV, VII)
Tenor Saxophone (III, V, Segundo eco)
Baritone Saxophone(II, Primero eco, VI)

Suspended Cymbal
Tam-tam with bass drum pedal
Crotales (one octave set C4-C5, sounding two octaves higher than written)
Woodblocks (set of 5)
Maracas (two different tones)
Cowbell
Vibraphone
Timpano (29″)
